Our family was waiting for us when we arrived. I greeted everyone, and looked around to find Shaikha; I saw her hugging her mother tightly and crying.

Then I looked at my niece, who was now hugging me and crying. I laughed at how sensitive women can be and I briefly chatted with my brother before everyone went back to their cars to head home.

I drove her mom's car so that she can be with us, since Shai5a missed her so much. I watched her intently as described the shops that we went to, the malls, the bags, the shoes, everything. She explained even the tiniest details with passion.

She went on and on, and I wondered was she the same quiet person that travelled with me. She would even include me in the conversations sometimes, smiling and laughing normally. I enjoyed her presence more than ever because I felt like she was at ease.

When we got home, the females continued talking. It was about 7 o'clock but I was really tired. I decided not to go to the diwaniya that day.

I went upstairs, took a shower, locked both bedrooms, and sat in our small living room, watching TV.

The women left and soon Shai5a came, accompanied by my mother so she can show her the way to the room.

"il 7imdillah 3al salama.." I said as I smiled.

"Allah ysalmik.." She replied happily.

"Quick question, red and beige or green and pink?" I asked.

"Laish.." She replied.

"It's just a question.. answer me.." I told her.

"Hmm.. red and beige I guess.." She said hesitantly.

"Ok.. yalla 3ayal.." I replied as I led her to the bedroom, I unlocked it, and told
her to call me when she's changed.

I sat in the living room, waiting, then she called me after a long while.

I was almost sleeping by that time. I went there, plopped onto the bed, and slept after I mumbled good night.

Next morning, I woke up and found her still asleep next to me. I hugged her, and ruffled her hair. She opened her eyes lazily and smiled slightly as she rested her head on my chest.

"Good morning.." I said.

If there was anything that woke me up, it was his masculine voice. It was sleepy, rough, it was simply alluring. I hugged him closer instead of replying.

The sound of his heartbeats along with the laughter that rumbled in his chest sent butterflies in my stomach at such an early hour. I smiled and kept my eyes closed.

"Yalla shai5a goomay.." He said in his captivating voice.

I just shrugged; I was honestly too lazy. After he slept last night I took my time cleaning everything, and organizing my clothes in the closet.

"Shushu.. yalla.." He said, driving me crazy.

I really hope he didn't hear my heart beats accelerating as he said that.

I got up, embarrassed by the way I was overreacting to his simple gestures.

"Good morning.." I said as I stretched.

She was too cute, I honestly couldn't resist. I had to do something. I stared at her, thinking about the outcomes and contemplating if I want to do that now.

She got up in time, spoiling all my plans for the moment.

I used the other bathroom as she finished and we went downstairs together.

We joined my mother, and my brother Fahad and sister Mariam, for breakfast.
Random conversations were going on.

"Shai5a ma awa9eech ya murt u5ooy.. I want you to bake your famous chocolate cake for me.." said Fahad pleadingly.

"Inshallah.." she said as she laughed.

"Na3am na3am.. shno mako sh'3l .. ana murty ma ti6ba5 7ag a7ad '3eery.." I said trying to sound serious.

She blushed as she drank some orange juice, and Fahad laughed.

"5ala9 yumma.. zawjeeeeeeeeeeny... aby chocolate cake.." He screamed, as we laughed at his silliness.

"Yumma.. mino bl mazra3a il7een?" I asked.

"ma77ad.." She replied.

"Inzain.. ana w shai5a bacher binroo7.. and we are going to stay there for a couple of days.. goolay 7ag 5wany ma iyoon.." I told her.

Shai5a and Mariam were too busy talking about fashion, so I guess she didn't hear me.

After breakfast we went to my parents house, he stayed for a while then left to take care of some business.

At night, when he came to pick me up...

"M7ammad.. aby anam 3nd umy ilyoom.." I pleaded.

He seemed surprised from my request at first, and I felt guilty but I really missed her and our house.

"Laish.. feech shay?" He asked concerned.

"No.. I just miss her so much .. I want to stay with her tonight.." I replied, hoping he wouldn't get angry.

"No.. I can't sleep if you are not next to me.." He replied, and I let it go although I was kind of disappointed.

When we got to our room, he told me that we will be staying in their mazra3a for a couple of days, so I prepared my bag with all the things I need.

"Yalla did you finish?" He asked.

"Yeah.." I replied.

"Take your pjs for the night w ta3alay.." He told me.

"Laish?" I asked

"Bas.. just do it.." He said as he grabbed my pjs, stuffed them in my purse, and led me downstairs.

He dropped me off at my parents house. I honestly didn't expect him to do that. I looked at him, surprised, with a smile forming on my face in spite of me.

"A5er marra.. w be ready I'm going to pick you up tomorrow morning.. " He said as he waved good-bye.

"Thank you..." I said as I ran to the house.

And as soon as I closed the door, he sped off.
